HTI10 Grade (Uncoated Precision): Engineered specifically for ISO N (Non-Ferrous Metals). HTI10 is a sub-micron tungsten carbide grade without coating. Why uncoated? Because coatings add thickness to the edge. HTI10 maintains a razor-sharp cutting edge that slices through Aluminum, Copper, and Plastics rather than "pushing" them, effectively preventing material welding and Built-Up Edge (BUE).
Positive Geometry (Low Torque): The CCMT 80-degree diamond shape with its positive rake angle is designed for small-bore work and light turning. The 0.4mm (1/64") radius is the finishing standard, ensuring low radial forces and a mirror-like surface finish on soft metals.

HTI10 (Uncoated): The King of Aluminum. Use this for all non-ferrous work and plastics. The lack of coating allows for a much sharper edge than coated versions.
VP15TF (PVD Coated): Use VP15TF for Steel and Stainless Steel. If you try to use HTI10 on hard steel, the edge will wear down almost immediately due to the lack of a thermal coating.
