How to Choose a ZCC·CT Threading Insert
Step 1: Identify the thread standard. ISO metric (M) for European/Asian metric fasteners. UN/UNF for North American inch fasteners. Whitworth (W/BSW) for UK legacy or vintage machinery. NPT for tapered pipe threads (60° North American standard). Partial profile (60° or 55°) for unknown or multi-pitch flexibility.
Step 2: Look up the pitch or TPI. ISO metric pitch is in mm (e.g. M10×1.5 = 1.5 mm pitch). UN TPI is threads per inch (e.g. 1/2"-20 UNF = 20 TPI). Whitworth and NPT are TPI as well. ZCC·CT's RT16 covers most common ISO pitches 1.0-3.0 mm.
