ISO 1832 grades are encoded as letter+number. Letter = material family (P=steel, M=stainless, K=cast iron, N=non-ferrous, S=heat-resistant alloys, H=hardened steel). Number = application range (01-05 = finishing/high Vc, 10-25 = general purpose, 30-45 = roughing/low Vc).What is PVD vs CVD vs Cermet vs CBN?
