About 35° Diamond Inserts (V-Style)
The ISO 1832 V-shape family delivers a 35° included-angle cutting edge — the sharpest profile geometry in turning, with the smallest nose radius and the most acute lead angle. Mitsubishi's 35° lineup covers two clearance variants:
- VB (5° positive rake) — Very sharp, low cutting force. Used for profiling, copy turning, and small-diameter finishing on Swiss-type lathes. Common in medical (bone screws, dental implants) and electronics (connector pins) machining.
