Everything B2B buyers ask about our CNC cutting tools, pricing, shipping, and technical support. Can't find your answer? Our team replies within 4 business hours.
A. Products & Specifications
What we sell, what brands we carry, and how to pick the right grade for your material.
1. What types of CNC cutting tools do you sell?
We specialize in indexable CNC tooling for turning, milling, drilling, threading, and grooving. The catalog covers carbide inserts (CNMG, TNMG, WNMG, APMT, RPMT and more), tool holders and boring bars, U-drills, end mills, taps, and measuring instruments.
Browse the full indexable tooling catalog or jump to a category like drill inserts or grooving tools.
2. Which brands do you carry? Are the inserts genuine?
We supply both our own brands (BEYOND and OYYU) and the major global names: Mitsubishi, Sandvik, Kyocera, Iscar, Walter, Sumitomo, Korloy, Taegutec, ZCC.CT, Tungaloy, Seco, and Kennametal.
All third-party inserts are sourced through authorized channels and shipped in original sealed boxes with batch codes. See question 22 for how to verify authenticity.
3. What is the difference between CVD and PVD coated inserts?
CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) coatings β typically TiC/Al&sub2;O&sub3;/TiN multilayers β are thicker (5β20 Β΅m) and excel at high-temperature, high-feed roughing of steel at moderate speeds. Examples: Sandvik GC4325, Mitsubishi US7020, Kennametal KC7315.
PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coatings β TiN, TiAlN, AlCrN, nACo β are thinner (1β5 Β΅m) and sharper, ideal for finishing, stainless steel, superalloys, and interrupted cuts. Examples: Mitsubishi US7020 PVD variants, Iscar IC808, Walter WPP05.
Match coating to your workpiece material + operation: PVD for stainless/titanium/Inconel, CVD for steel roughing. For a deep dive, see our CVD vs PVD coating technology guide, or use the Insert Grade Cross-Reference tool to look up equivalents.
4. Are your carbide tools suitable for stainless steel, titanium, or Inconel?
Yes. We carry PVD-coated grades engineered specifically for hard-to-machine materials: Mitsubishi US7020 / VP15TF for stainless steel, MP8015 for titanium, and Iscar IC808 / Walter WPP05 for Inconel and other nickel-based superalloys.
For depth on grades, geometries, and recommended cutting parameters for stainless, see our stainless steel machining guidelines and the carbide insert selection guide. To calculate starting speeds and feeds for your specific machine and material, try the Speeds & Feeds Calculator.
5. Can I get a custom grade, geometry, or special tooling for my application?
Yes. For OEMs and high-volume buyers we offer custom tooling covering special insert geometries, modified chipbreakers, non-standard radii/corner preparations, and private-label packaging. Lead time is typically 30β45 days depending on specification.
Send your drawing, workpiece material, machine model, and target tool life to chao@cnchome-beyond.com for an engineering review and quotation. See the Knowledge Base for a brief template, or browse sample catalogs for reference tooling.
B. Pricing, Quotes & Orders
Volume discounts, MOQ, formal PIs, and how to pay.
6. Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing?
Yes. Bulk pricing is automatically applied at checkout through our SMART Discounts engine: 6% off on 2β9 pieces of the same SKU, and 12% off on 10+ pieces. No code needed β the discount appears in the cart automatically.
For larger contract volumes (typically 100+ pieces per SKU or repeat orders) we offer a custom quotation with tiered pricing. See Knowledge Base β Bulk & Wholesale Discount for the full policy.
7. Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
No strict MOQ β single inserts and small-batch orders are welcome. This is one reason we are popular for prototyping, R&D, and one-off production jobs. You will get the same per-piece price as any other buyer.
The smart move is to order 2β9 pieces of the same SKU to automatically trigger the 6% bulk discount even on a small order.
8. Can you send a formal quote or Proforma Invoice (PI)?
Yes. Email your BOM (part numbers, grades, quantities) to chao@cnchome-beyond.com and we will return a formal PDF quotation within 1 business day, valid for 30 days. We can convert it to a Proforma Invoice (PI) on request, suitable for opening a Letter of Credit or for your import customs filing.
For standard order questions you can also reach the team through the Contact page.
9. What payment methods do you accept?
For online orders we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay, all processed through Airwallex-secured payments with built-in fraud screening.
For B2B orders above USD 2,000 we also accept T/T (bank wire transfer) and can issue a Proforma Invoice. See the Payment Methods page for the full breakdown including regional options.
C. Shipping & Logistics
Carriers, delivery times, and who handles customs.
10. Do you ship internationally?
Yes β we ship to 50+ countries across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Oceania. Hong Kongβbased fulfillment with strategically stocked SKUs in our Hangzhou warehouse means most orders ship within 24β48 hours.
For carrier-specific rates to your country, try the Freight Calculator. See also the Shipping & Delivery page for country-specific transit estimates and any restricted destinations.
11. How long does delivery take?
Standard transit times for in-stock items: DHL Express 3β5 business days, UPS Worldwide 4β6 business days, FedEx International Priority 3β7 business days. Order processing (pick, pack, label) takes 1β3 business days before handoff.
For urgent jobs, choose DHL Express at checkout β most orders placed before 14:00 HKT ship the same business day. Use the Freight Calculator for a live estimate to your postcode.
12. Who pays for customs duties and import taxes?
For most destinations, the buyer is responsible for import duties, VAT/GST, and any customs clearance fees in the receiving country β this is standard practice in cross-border B2B trade. The shipping price we quote covers freight only.
If you need DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms with all duties prepaid and included in the invoice, request a quote by email β we can arrange this for most major destinations with a 3β5% surcharge on the freight cost. For the HS code and duty rate of any specific insert, see the HS Code & Duty Tool.
13. Which carriers do you use? Can I ship with my own account?
Default carriers are DHL Express, UPS, and FedEx, selected automatically based on destination, weight, and the fastest available service. Tracking is emailed as soon as the label is generated.
Buyers with their own DHL, UPS, or FedEx account numbers can request freight collect / third-party billing at checkout (write the account number in the order notes). For palletized or oversized shipments we can also arrange sea freight on request. Full policy: Freight & Carriers.
D. Returns, Warranty & Quality
What happens if something goes wrong.
14. What is your return policy?
We offer a 14-day return window from the date of delivery. Items must be unused, in original sealed packaging, and resalable. A 10% restocking fee applies to non-defective returns to cover inspection, repackaging, and inventory re-entry.
Full policy details, including the RMA process and which items are non-returnable, are on the Returns & Refunds page.
15. What if I receive a wrong or damaged item?
Email a photo of the outer carton, the damaged product, and the packing slip to chao@cnchome-beyond.com within 48 hours of delivery. We will dispatch a free replacement the next business day and cover the return shipping of the damaged unit.
Wrong-SKU cases (you ordered X, we shipped Y) are covered under the same no-cost replacement policy with no restocking fee. See Warranty & Replacements for the full claim procedure.
16. Do your products come with a warranty?
All BEYOND and OYYU products carry a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. Third-party OEM brands (Mitsubishi, Sandvik, Kyocera, etc.) carry the original manufacturer warranty, honored worldwide through their authorized service network.
Warranty does not cover wear from normal use, chipping from incorrect speeds/feeds, or modifications. We will happily review any case and route it to the correct manufacturer if needed. Full terms: Warranty.
