UTI20T Grade (Uncoated Classic): UTI20T is a time-tested, sub-micron uncoated carbide grade. Unlike specialized coated grades, UTI20T offers a high degree of mechanical toughness. It is designed for General Purpose Turning across a wide range of materials (Steel, Stainless, and Cast Iron) specifically at low-to-medium cutting speeds where modern coatings might flake or peel.
0.4mm Precision Radius (Precision & Stability): The 04 (1/64") radius is the industry standard for finishing to semi-finishing. It excels in small-diameter boring (internal) and precision turning (external), providing a sharp enough edge to minimize tool pressure and chatter in light-duty CNC lathes and manual machines.
