NX2525 Grade (Titanium Cermet): NX2525 is a premium Cermet (Ceramic-Metal) grade. It offers superior wear resistance and chemical stability compared to standard carbide. Because ferrous metals do not "stick" to Cermet, this insert is the ultimate choice for achieving a glossy, mirror-like surface on Carbon and Alloy steels.
FV Chipbreaker (Fine Finishing): The FV geometry is a sharp-edge, positive rake chipbreaker specifically designed for Light-Duty High-Speed Finishing. It provides exceptional chip control at shallow depths of cut, preventing "long chips" from scratching your workpiece surface.
0.4mm Radius: The 04 (1/64") radius is the global standard for finishing. It offers higher dimensional stability than a 0.2mm radius while still maintaining low cutting resistance to prevent vibration.
