VP15TF Grade (Miracle PVD Technology): The VP15TF is Mitsubishi’s most versatile PVD-coated carbide. The Miracle Coating (Al-Ti-N) provides extreme hardness and heat resistance. Unlike thick CVD coatings that can round off a sharp edge, this PVD layer is thin and ultra-smooth, preserving the edge sharpness required to slice through gummy stainless steels and preventing "Built-Up Edge" (BUE) in carbon steel.
MV Chipbreaker (The Precision Control): The MV geometry is a medium-cut chipbreaker with an 11-degree positive rake. It is specifically designed to balance edge strength with sharpness. In general steel, it produces manageable "6" shaped chips, while in tougher materials, it reduces cutting resistance to prevent chatter in internal boring operations.
0.4mm (1/64") Finish Radius: The 04 radius is the ideal choice for achieving high-quality surface finishes. It generates minimal radial force, making it the perfect partner for long boring bars or small-diameter workpieces where deflection must be avoided.
