HTI10 (Sharp Edge): Best for pure Aluminum and Plastics. Because it lacks a thick coating, the edge remains sharper, preventing the material from "smearing" or sticking to the insert.
TF15 (DLC Coated): If you are roughing High-Silicon Aluminum (Cast pistons, etc.), the HTI10 may wear prematurely due to abrasion. In those specific cases, switch to TF15 for its diamond-like hardness.
