UTI20T Grade (Sub-Micron Strength): UTI20T is a time-tested, uncoated sub-micron carbide grade. It is specifically engineered for mechanical toughness. Unlike coated inserts that may suffer from "coating delamination" in unstable conditions, UTI20T offers a consistent, sharp edge for general turning of Steel, Stainless Steel, and Cast Iron. It is the go-to grade for interrupted cuts or machines with limited spindle speeds.
0.8mm High-Strength Radius: The 08 (1/32") corner radius is the industry favorite for semi-finishing and light roughing. It provides a significantly stronger edge than the 0.4mm version, allowing for higher feed rates and better heat dissipation, resulting in longer tool life in abrasive or tougher materials.
