NX2525 Grade (TiCN Cermet): This grade is a non-coated Titanium Carbonitride-based cermet. Unlike standard tungsten carbide, cermet has a low chemical affinity for steel. This prevents the workpiece material from "smearing" or "welding" onto the cutting edge, effectively eliminating Built-Up Edge (BUE). The result is a consistent, high-gloss surface finish and superior dimensional control.
80° Positive Rhombic Geometry: The CCMT design features a 7° positive relief angle. This reduces cutting resistance and tool pressure, which is vital for maintaining accuracy in Internal Boring operations and when machining long, slender workpieces.
