Material Science & Geometry
NX2525 Grade (TiCN Cermet): NX2525 is a premium Titanium Carbonitride (TiCN) based cermet. Unlike standard tungsten carbide, cermets have a low chemical affinity for steel, which prevents the workpiece material from "welding" to the insert edge. This effectively eliminates Built-Up Edge (BUE), allowing for significantly higher cutting speeds and a brilliant, mirror-like surface finish.
CCMT Geometry (80° Positive): The 12mm class CCMT insert provides massive stability for large diameter Internal Boring and external turning. The 7° positive relief angle reduces cutting forces and heat transfer to the workpiece, ensuring dimensional accuracy even on long production runs.
