NX2525 Grade (TiCN Cermet): NX2525 is a non-coated Titanium Carbonitride-based cermet. Unlike tungsten carbide, this material is chemically inert to steel, meaning it resists Built-Up Edge (BUE) even at high cutting temperatures. It is the premier grade for achieving polished-quality surface finishes directly during the turning process, eliminating the need for grinding.
0.8mm Radius (The Productivity Edge): The large 0.8mm (1/32") corner radius significantly strengthens the cutting edge. It allows for a broader Wiping Effect—you can run at much higher feed rates (mm/rev) without the "threaded" surface appearance typical of smaller radii, drastically reducing cycle times for large parts.
