UC5115 Grade (The Iron Champion): Specifically engineered for ISO K (Cast Iron). This grade utilizes a thick-layer CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) coating. The proprietary Black Super Coating provides incredible surface hardness and thermal insulation.
0.8mm Radius (High-Strength Productivity): The 08 (1/32") radius is the "Workhorse" of the CCMT 12 series. It offers a much stronger cutting edge than the 04 version, allowing for higher feed rates (fn) and better heat dissipation. This makes it ideal for removing the rough "skin" of cast parts and handling semi-roughing to finishing in high-volume production.

UC5115 (CVD): The Specialist. The thick coating is designed specifically for abrasive cast iron. Use this for high-speed continuous turning where efficiency is key.
VP15TF (PVD): Switch to VP15TF only for heavy interruptions or when you need to machine a mix of steel and iron in the same cycle. For pure iron production, UC5115 is significantly more cost-effective.
