AP25N Cermet Grade (Chemical Stability): AP25N is a Cermet grade (Ceramic + Metal) that provides the high hardness of ceramics with the toughness of metal. Because it has low affinity for steel, it effectively prevents Built-up Edge (BUE). This allows for higher cutting speeds and results in a shiny, high-precision surface finish often required for final tolerances.
FH Chipbreaker (Fine Finish Geometry): The FH chipbreaker is specifically engineered for light depths of cut. It features a sharp cutting edge and a specialized chip pocket that forces the chip to curl and break even at very low feed rates, preventing the "bird-nesting" that typically ruins a finished surface.
0.4mm (1/64") Precision Radius: The 04 radius is the ideal choice for finishing. It minimizes radial cutting forces, which reduces tool deflection and vibration—crucial for maintaining dimensional accuracy on slender workpieces.
