UE6020 Grade (The Fracture Barrier): The UE6020 is a high-toughness CVD-coated grade specialized for P-Class (Steel) turning. It features a specialized multi-layer coating that provides a high degree of resistance to flank wear and cratering. Its greatest strength lies in its ability to prevent edge fracture during interrupted cuts or when machining parts with a rough, uneven surface.
MH Chipbreaker (Universal Medium Cutting): The MH geometry is the first choice for medium-range cutting. It balances a sharp cutting edge with a reinforced land, allowing for smooth chip breaking across a broad spectrum of feed rates. This eliminates the need for tool changes between semi-roughing and semi-finishing passes, significantly reducing cycle times.
0.8mm (1/32") Corner Radius: The 08 radius is the most popular size for general-purpose turning. It provides excellent edge strength while maintaining low enough cutting forces to be used on a wide variety of lathe sizes and power ratings.
