VP05RT Grade (High-Hardness Miracle PVD): The VP05RT is the high-wear-resistance variant of Mitsubishi’s legendary "Miracle" PVD series. It features a dense, heat-resistant coating on a high-hardness substrate. This grade is specifically designed to withstand the extreme temperatures generated when machining S-Class (Heat Resistant Super Alloys) and hardened steels. It maintains its edge sharpness even under the abrasive wear of Nickel-based alloys.
MJ Chipbreaker (The Versatile Stabilizer): The MJ geometry is a medium-duty breaker that excels in difficult-to-cut materials. It features a unique rake angle that reduces cutting forces to prevent work-hardening—a common issue in stainless and titanium. The MJ design provides excellent chip control across semi-roughing to semi-finishing operations.
0.8mm (1/32") Universal Radius: The 08 radius provides a reinforced tip that handles heat better than smaller radii, making it the ideal choice for medium roughing passes where tool life and surface integrity are paramount.
