MC7025 Grade (CVD Nano-Texture): Stainless steel turning generates concentrated heat at the cutting edge. The MC7025 grade utilizes a specialized Al2O3 nano-textured CVD coating that provides an ultra-smooth surface to prevent Built-Up Edge (BUE). This grade is engineered to resist chemical wear and notch wear, extending tool life significantly in Austenitic (300 series) and Duplex stainless steels.
MM Chipbreaker (Medium-Cut Geometry): The MM chipbreaker is the bridge between finishing and roughing. It features a medium-width land that provides the necessary edge toughness to handle variations in depth of cut while maintaining a sharp enough rake angle to prevent work-hardening of the stainless workpiece.
0.8mm (1/32") Performance Radius: The 08 radius is the global standard for medium turning. It offers excellent structural integrity for semi-roughing while providing a high-quality surface finish for final passes.
