VP05RT Grade (The High-Temp Specialist): The VP05RT is Mitsubishi’s premium PVD-coated grade for high-speed finishing and medium cutting of **Titanium alloys, Inconel, and Cobalt-chrome**. It features an ultra-smooth Miracle coating over a substrate with extreme thermal deformation resistance. This allows you to increase cutting speeds ($V_c$) compared to traditional PVD grades without sacrificing tool life.
MS Chipbreaker (Precision Shear): The MS geometry is world-renowned for its high rake angle and sharp cutting edge. In high-temp alloys, "rubbing" leads to instant failure; the MS chipbreaker ensures the insert **shears** the material cleanly. This reduces the heat transferred into the tool and eliminates work-hardening of the workpiece.
0.8mm (1/32") Balanced Radius: The 08 radius provides the necessary edge strength to withstand the high specific cutting forces of superalloys while maintaining the ability to achieve superior surface finishes.
