VP15TF Miracle Grade (The PVD Powerhouse): The VP15TF is Mitsubishi’s most versatile PVD-coated grade. It features a micro-grain carbide substrate with a specialized "Miracle" (Al-Ti-N) coating. This thin, smooth coating allows for a razor-sharp edge, which is critical for reducing cutting resistance and preventing Built-Up Edge (BUE) when machining gummy materials like 304/316 Stainless Steel.

MS Chipbreaker (Precision Control): The MS geometry is a sharp-edged chipbreaker designed for finishing to medium-duty cutting. It features a high rake angle that effectively shears the material, preventing the work-hardening often associated with austenitic stainless steels. It excels at breaking chips into small, manageable "6" shapes even at lower feed rates.

0.8mm (1/32") Universal Radius: The 08 radius provides the ideal balance of edge strength and surface finish quality. It is robust enough for light roughing while sharp enough to achieve high-precision Ra values in finishing passes.

VP15TF vs. US735: Both are great for stainless, but VP15TF offers higher wear resistance for continuous turning. Use US735 if you are performing heavy interrupted cuts where impact toughness is more important than pure sharpness.

MS vs. MA Geometry: Choose MS when chip control is your main issue. The MS geometry breaks chips more aggressively than the MA version.
