UE6020 Grade (The Steel Shield): The UE6020 is a specialized CVD-coated grade designed for the stable machining of P-Class (Steel). It features a multi-layer coating that provides excellent plastic deformation resistance and superior adhesion resistance. This grade is the industry standard for roughing large forgings, shafts, and heavy plates where reliability is more important than pure speed.
HX Chipbreaker (Heavy Roughing Power): The HX geometry is one of Mitsubishi's most robust breakers. It is engineered for High Feed (HX = Heavy X-treme) applications. The reinforced cutting edge and large chip pocket allow for massive depths of cut without the risk of insert breakage, even when encountering heavy scale or "black skin" on raw material.
2.4mm (3/32") Maximum Radius: The huge 24 radius is designed to dissipate heat and handle extreme radial pressure. This radius provides the strongest possible corner for an insert, making it almost immune to corner chipping during violent interrupted cuts.
