VP15TF Grade (Miracle PVD Coating): The VP15TF is one of the most versatile grades ever produced. Using Mitsubishi’s proprietary Miracle Coating (Al-Ti-N) technology, it provides an ultra-smooth surface that resists welding and built-up edge. Because it is a PVD grade, the cutting edge remains much sharper than CVD alternatives, making it the premier choice for precision finishing and small lathes where high speeds aren't always possible.
MV Chipbreaker (The Versatile Finisher): The MV geometry is designed for the 11-degree positive CPMH series. It features a specialized rake face that creates excellent chip breaking even at low depths of cut. Whether you are cutting gummy low-carbon steel or tough stainless, the MV breaker ensures chips are managed safely away from the workpiece.
0.4mm (1/64") Radius: The 04 radius is the standard for high-precision finishing. It offers the lowest radial cutting pressure, preventing chatter and ensuring tight dimensional tolerances on slender parts.
