VP15TF Grade (Miracle PVD Coating): The VP15TF is engineered for versatility. Its Aluminum Titanium Nitride (Al-Ti-N) Miracle Coating provides a unique combination of high hardness and superior oxidation resistance. This allows the insert to perform excellently in dry machining or high-heat environments common in alloy steel and stainless steel turning.
MV Chipbreaker (The High-Volume Breaker): The MV geometry is a medium-cut chipbreaker that excels in a broad range of depths. In "long-chip" materials like carbon steel, the MV breaker forces a tight curl that ensures safe chip evacuation. Its 11-degree positive rake reduces tool pressure, making it ideal for the 09-size I.C. in internal boring applications.
0.8mm (1/32") High-Durability Radius: The 08 radius is the "Power" choice. It offers the highest resistance to edge chipping and allows for significantly higher feed rates than the 04 version. It is perfect for rough-to-semi-finish turning where surface finish is important but tool life and speed are the priorities.
