The Micro-Finishing Standard
VP15TF Grade (Miracle PVD Performance): The VP15TF grade is Mitsubishi’s most versatile PVD coating. Using proprietary (Al,Ti)N Miracle technology, it creates a heat-resistant barrier that doesn't sacrifice edge sharpness. This is essential for the DCGT series, where a thick CVD coating would round off the precision-ground edge.
F-Chipbreaker (Precision Low-Force): The F-geometry is a specialized "Fine-cut" breaker. It features an extremely sharp rake angle designed to "peel" the material, reducing radial cutting forces to near zero. This is the ultimate solution for machining thin shafts or deep internal bores where chatter is a constant threat.
G-Class Fully Ground Tolerance: Unlike the DCMT (molded) series, the DCGT is precision ground on its entire periphery. This ensures that when you index the insert to a new edge, your machine's offset remains identical, making it perfect for high-tolerance automated production.
