VP15TF Grade (Miracle PVD Shield): The VP15TF is Mitsubishi's benchmark PVD grade. The Miracle (Al-Ti-N) coating provides extreme hardness and heat resistance. Because it is applied via Physical Vapor Deposition, the coating remains thin enough to preserve the periphery-ground sharpness of the DCGT series, making it ideal for Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, and Stainless Steel.
F-Chipbreaker (Micro-Finishing): The F-geometry is a high-rake, positive chipbreaker designed for finishing depths. It excel at controlled chip evacuation even at extremely light depths of cut ($Ap < 0.5mm$), preventing the "birds-nesting" that ruins surface finishes on CNC lathes.
G-Class Precision Ground: Unlike standard DCMT inserts, the DCGT is ground on all sides. This results in a razor-sharp edge and an indexing tolerance of $\pm 0.025mm$ or better. This is the "Left-Hand" (L) version for specific tool paths and back-turning.
