The Bridge Between Precision and Productivity
VP15TF Grade (Miracle PVD Tech): The VP15TF grade is the gold standard for versatility. It utilizes a high-toughness micro-grain carbide substrate coated with (Al,Ti)N Miracle PVD. This coating is specifically engineered to resist built-up edge (BUE) in gummy materials like 304/316 Stainless Steel while providing enough thermal protection for high-speed alloy steel turning.
SMG Chipbreaker (Semi-Mirror Ground): The SMG geometry is a unique "hybrid" breaker. It features a razor-sharp ground edge for surface finish quality but adds a specific micro-land that stabilizes the edge during semi-finishing cuts. This allows you to push the feed rate slightly higher than a standard "F" breaker without sacrificing the "Mirror" surface finish.
0.4mm Radius & Neutral Geometry: The 0.4mm (04) nose radius provides the best balance of strength and Ra (surface roughness) values. Being a neutral-style insert, it can be used for both right and left-hand toolpaths in specific holders.
