VP15TF Grade (Miracle PVD Coating): The VP15TF is Mitsubishi’s universal PVD grade. It combines a tough micro-grain carbide substrate with a high-adhesion Al-Ti-N Miracle coating. This allows for a much sharper cutting edge than CVD grades, which is essential for "shearing" the metal cleanly and preventing work-hardening in materials like 304/316 Stainless Steel.
FM Chipbreaker (Finishing Specialist): The FM geometry is engineered for light finishing. It features a sharp rake angle and a specialized chip pocket that forces chip curl at very low depths of cut ($Ap$). This eliminates the "long stringer" chips that often scratch the workpiece during the final pass.
