VP15TF Grade (The Miracle PVD): The VP15TF is Mitsubishi’s premier PVD-coated micro-grain carbide. The "Miracle Coating" (Al-Ti-N) offers superior oxidation resistance and high-temperature hardness. Because PVD is thinner and more uniform than CVD, the cutting edge remains exceptionally sharp, significantly reducing "Built-Up Edge" (BUE) in gummy materials like 300-series Stainless Steel.
DCMT Geometry (Positive Chipbreaker): The 55-degree diamond shape with a 7-degree relief angle is the industry standard for profiling and medium turning. Its positive rake design shears the material cleanly, reducing radial forces and power consumption.
0.8mm Radius (The Rugged Edge): The "08" (1/32") nose radius provides maximum edge strength. It is the preferred choice for semi-roughing as it can withstand higher feed rates and resists chipping on parts with surface scale or minor interruptions.
