VP15TF Grade (Mirage PVD Coating): The VP15TF grade features Mitsubishi's proprietary Mirage PVD coating. This nano-structured coating provides an ultra-smooth surface that significantly reduces friction. It is specifically engineered to prevent "built-up edge" when machining sticky materials like Stainless Steel (304/316) and provides excellent wear resistance in Hardened Steel and Alloy Steel.
MA Chipbreaker (Medium Cut Reliability): The MA geometry is designed for medium-range cutting depths. It provides a perfect balance between sharpness (to reduce cutting force) and edge strength (to prevent chipping). This makes it the primary choice for general CNC turning where versatility is required.
0.8mm Radius (The Production Standard): The "08" (1/32") radius is the industry favorite for a reason. It offers a much stronger cutting edge than the 0.4mm radius, allowing for higher feed rates and better durability during light interrupted cuts or when machining through rough outer scale.
