Built for Versatility. Reinforced sides allow for horizontal turning after plunging. Perfect for complex shapes and reducing the number of tools in your turret.
Built for Deep Parting. While stronger for vertical plunging, it cannot be used for horizontal turning. Best for simple cut-off operations.
Machinist's Pro Tip: When using the FGM300R for side-turning, ensure your depth of cut (Ap) doesn't exceed 2.5mm per pass to maintain stability and prevent vibration. Always use plenty of coolant to evacuate chips from the groove.
