MP7130 Tough-PVD Coating
The MP7130 grade is part of Mitsubishi’s PVD coated series specifically for stainless steels. It features a specialized (Al,Ti,Cr)N layer that prevents the workpiece material from adhering to the cutting edge, effectively eliminating built-up edge (BUE) and notch wear in austenitic stainless steels.
FT (Flat Top) Geometry
The FT chipbreaker is a high-accuracy, high-fracture resistant flat-top design. Unlike more aggressive breakers, the FT focuses on edge strength. It is ideally suited for rough machining of scaled stainless steel or when cutting conditions are unstable, providing a reliable bridge against edge chipping.
