How to Mount Inserts

1. Completely eliminate chips and dust from the insert mounting side
2. Coat anti-seize compound thinly on portion of taper and thread of clamp screw prior to installation.
After mounting a clamp screw on the top edge of wrench, tighten the screw while keeping the insert pushed against the insert seat surface and
holder surface (Fig.1)
3. Tighten the wrench while holding parallel to the clamp screw.
Recommended tightening torque . . . 1.2 Nm
4. After tightening, check that there is no gap between the contact surface of the insert and the surface of the insert seat, or between the side surface of
insert and the holder surface. If there is a gap, remount the insert using the directions above.

For carbide inserts, tool holders, drills and end mills, compare the mounting dimensions, connection type and manufacturer's specifications with your holder or machine. If you are unsure, share your existing part number and machining application with us before ordering.

What quantity and price unit am I ordering?

Check the product listing for the selling unit, pack quantity and included components. If it is unclear whether the price is per piece or per pack, or whether a tool body and inserts are sold separately, contact us before purchasing.

How should I choose cutting parameters?

Select cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut using the relevant manufacturer's recommendations for your tool model, workpiece material, machine conditions and coolant method. The same settings are not suitable for every product or application.
