VP15TF Miracle Grade
The VP15TF grade is the benchmark for indexable threading. It utilizes a high-toughness micro-grain carbide substrate paired with Mitsubishi’s Miracle (Al-Ti-N) PVD coating. Internal threading is notoriously difficult for chip evacuation. The -S molded chipbreaker features a specialized 3D rake geometry that curls chips into tight spirals. This allows chips to be easily flushed out of the bore by the internal boring bar's coolant, preventing surface damage and protecting the thread surface finish.
