VP15TF Miracle Grade
The VP15TF grade is an industry favorite for indexable threading. It utilizes a high-toughness substrate with an Al-Ti-N Miracle coating. This provides extreme wear resistance and anti-welding properties, which are critical when threading stainless steel or exotic materials that tend to cause built-up edge (BUE).
-S Type (3D) Chipbreaker
In internal operations, chip control is the biggest challenge. The -S type 3D geometry forces the chip to curl and break away from the thread wall. This prevents the "bird-nesting" effect that can destroy the surface finish or damage the threading bar during the cycle.
