VP15TF Miracle Grade
The VP15TF grade is Mitsubishi's premier universal PVD solution. It combines a high-toughness micro-grain substrate with the Miracle (Al-Ti-N) coating. This provides the indexable threading insert with extreme fracture toughness and anti-welding properties. It is specifically designed to stop built-up edge (BUE) when threading gummy stainless steels (304/316).
-S Type 3D Chipbreaker
External threading generates continuous chips that can ruin the thread surface finish. The -S molded chipbreaker uses a 3D geometry to curl and break chips into small, manageable pieces.
