VP15TF Miracle Grade
The VP15TF grade is Mitsubishi's premium universal PVD solution. By combining a tough carbide substrate with a Miracle (Al-Ti-N) coating, it offers excellent heat resistance and anti-welding properties. When indexable threading tough materials, VP15TF prevents premature flank wear and edge chipping, making it highly reliable for large-pitch operations.
-S Type (3D) Chipbreaker
Large 3.0 pitch threads generate massive chips. The -S molded chipbreaker uses a 3D rake face to force these chips into a tight curl. This reduces the contact area between the chip and the tool, lowering cutting temperatures and vibration. It is the gold standard for maintaining thread accuracy in heavy machining.
