VP15TF Miracle Grade
The VP15TF grade is Mitsubishi's premium universal carbide substrate. Combined with the Miracle (Al-Ti-N) PVD coating, it provides a high balance of toughness and wear resistance. This grade is specifically designed to eliminate built-up edge (BUE), making it ideal for indexable threading in gummy materials like 304/316 stainless steel and carbon steels.
-S Type (3D) Chipbreaker
External threading often generates continuous, dangerous chips. The -S molded chipbreaker utilizes 3D rake geometry to break chips into short spirals. This significantly reduces cutting heat and friction, protecting the thread surface finish and ensuring the tip of the insert does not chip during high-speed CNC threading cycles.
