VP15TF Miracle Grade
The VP15TF grade is Mitsubishi's ultimate PVD solution for indexable threading. By combining a high-toughness carbide substrate with the Miracle (Al-Ti-N) coating, this insert resists thermal cracking and built-up edge (BUE). It is particularly effective for machining stainless steel (SUS304/316) and alloy steels under heavy cutting loads.
-S Type 3D Chipbreaker
Coarser threads (8-14 TPI) generate substantial chip volume. The -S molded chipbreaker uses a 3D geometry to curl chips away from the workpiece. This prevents "chip wrapping" and ensures a superior thread surface finish, protecting the cutting edge from premature wear during high-feed CNC threading cycles.
