VP15TF Miracle Grade
The VP15TF grade is Mitsubishi's premier universal PVD solution. It combines a high-toughness micro-grain substrate with the Miracle (Al-Ti-N) coating. This provides industry-leading fracture toughness and anti-welding properties. It is specifically designed to stop built-up edge (BUE) when internal threading tough alloys or gummy stainless steels.
-S Type (3D) Chipbreaker
In internal operations, chip control is the primary challenge. The -S molded chipbreaker uses a 3D rake angle to force chips into a tight spiral. This ensures they are easily flushed out by coolant from the boring bar, preventing the "nesting" effect that often leads to insert breakage and poor surface finish.
