Understanding the versatility of the PC5300 grade:
The Safety Pick. Use PC5300 when you don't know the exact material hardness or when the machine is vibrating. Its PVD coating is much tougher than CVD (like NC3020), preventing edge fracture in difficult setups.
High-Speed Stainless. If you are ONLY cutting stainless steel in high-volume production, PC9030 might offer slightly better life. But for general repair or job shop work, PC5300 is the superior all-rounder.
Pro Advice: The -HS chipbreaker on the SNMG120404 is quite sharp. To prevent early wear, avoid using it for heavy roughing on forged "black" skins. For skin removal, switch to the -HM or -HR chipbreakers.
