UTI20T: The Tough Grade
The UTI20T grade is a non-coated carbide alloy that offers a perfect balance of wear resistance and fracture toughness. It is the go-to grade for general milling where vibration or intermittent cutting may occur. This grade excels in stainless steel machining and produces stable results in Cast Iron (ISO K) and carbon steels.
Flat-Top (No Chipbreaker)
As an "N" type insert, the SPMN has no molded chipbreaker on the top face. This provides a high-strength cutting edge designed for light-to-medium loads. It is ideal for conventional face milling where the chip formation is naturally controlled by the tool's approach angle, or for use in legacy tool holders with mechanical chip deflectors.
