Grade: VP15TF (Miracle Coating)
The VP15TF grade is an AlTiN-based PVD miracle coating on a micro-grain carbide substrate. This combination provides extreme resistance to welding and oxidation. It is the first choice for boring stainless steel because it maintains edge sharpness while resisting the high temperatures generated during the cutting process.
Chipbreaker: F-Breaker (Finishing)
The F-Breaker is a ground-class geometry designed for light depths of cut ($a_p$). It provides exceptional chip control and reduces cutting resistance. The "L" indicates the Left-hand orientation, ideal for specific Swiss-type lathes or specialized internal boring operations.
