VP15TF Miracle Grade
The VP15TF grade is a carbon-rich AlTiN-based PVD coating. This coating offers high hardness and superior thermal resistance, effectively preventing built-up edge (BUE). It is the ideal choice for stainless steel turning and machining gummy carbon steels where thermal cracking is a common failure mode.
Reinforced 0.8mm Radius
While the 1102 series is often used for finishing, the 0.8mm corner radius on this indexable turning insert provides much higher edge toughness. This allows for higher feed rates and more aggressive chip evacuation without risking micro-chipping of the tip.
