How NC3120 fits into your production cycle:
The Goldilocks Grade. Not too hard, not too soft. Use this when your daily work varies between smooth shafts and slightly rough or square stock. It’s the most forgiving grade for general machining.
The Specialists. Choose NC3020 for strictly high-speed, continuous CNC work. Choose NC3030 only for heavy impact, interrupted cuts, or very poor machine rigidity.
Pro Advice: For large-diameter boring with the 16mm TCMT, always ensure your chipbreaker is clear. The HMP geometry is great, but in deep holes, high-pressure coolant is your best friend to prevent chip re-cutting.

Select cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut using the relevant manufacturer's recommendations for your tool model, workpiece material, machine conditions and coolant method. The same settings are not suitable for every product or application.
