The Safe Choice. PC9030 is designed for a broad window of speeds. If you are experiencing vibration or inconsistent material quality, PC9030 provides the necessary toughness to keep the edge intact.

When to switch to PC9035?

If you are performing heavy interruptions or turning extremely tough Duplex alloys at low speeds, the PC9035 grade (extra toughness) might be required. For 90% of stainless jobs, PC9030 (this model) is the superior balance.

Pro Advice: The 0.8mm radius is the best "general purpose" size. However, ensure you maintain a feed rate (fn) at least 1/3 of the corner radius (approx. 0.25mm/rev) to ensure the chipbreaker engages correctly and keeps heat away from the workpiece.
