AP25N Cermet Grade
AP25N is an advanced TiCN-based Cermet. Because Cermet has a low affinity for steel, it resists built-up edge and oxidation at high temperatures. This long-tail precision insert is ideal for maintaining tight tolerances and achieving mirror finishes in carbon and alloy steel finishing.
FS "Super-Finish" Breaker
The FS chipbreaker is designed for ultra-fine finishing. It curtails long chips at very low depths of cut and feed rates, ensuring chips do not scratch the workpiece—a critical factor in high-quality CNC boring applications.
