The Mitsubishi TPGX080202L NX2525 is an ultra-precision Left-Hand (L) Cermet insert. Engineered for high-velocity finishing, the NX2525 Cermet grade offers incredible resistance to oxidation and material welding (BUE). This makes it the ideal long-tail precision tool for CNC boring and finishing of carbon, alloy, and mild steels where a mirror surface finish is the primary requirement.

The NX2525 grade is a general-purpose Cermet. It excels in chemical stability, meaning it does not react with steel at high temperatures. This prevents the cutting edge from dulling via chemical wear, ensuring your aluminum finishing (if non-ferrous) or steel finishing remains ultra-consistent over long production runs.
TPGX Precision Edge
The TPGX geometry is fully ground (G-Class), providing much tighter tolerances than pressed (M-Class) inserts. This is crucial for boring bar applications where small diametrical changes significantly affect part quality.
