Unlike PVD coatings, the thick layered Alumina structure in UE6020 acts as a massive heat barrier, protecting the carbide substrate from crater wear during prolonged steel turning operations. It is the gold standard for production-scale P-class machining.
MV Multi-Value Geometry
The MV chipbreaker features an optimized rake angle for medium-finishing. It effectively curls chips to prevent tool entanglement, especially critical in automated CNC lathe boring where manual chip clearing is not an option. It provides stable chip control across varying feed rates.
