VP15TF is Mitsubishi’s proprietary multi-layer PVD coating. It is designed to withstand the high temperatures of super-finishing without losing edge sharpness. Unlike CVD coatings, which can be too thick for ultra-sharp radii, this PVD Miracle Coating adheres perfectly to the 0.2mm tip, preventing peeling and ensuring long tool life.
FV "Fine-Value" Geometry
The FV chipbreaker is an ultra-positive geometry designed to slice through material with minimal cutting resistance. This is critical for the 0.2mm radius version to prevent "rubbing" and work-hardening of the workpiece surface, especially in sensitive materials like 304/316 Stainless Steel.
