The MV chipbreaker is an "All-Round" geometry. It features a balanced rake angle that provides excellent chip control across a wide range of feed rates. Compared to the finishing-specific MP chipbreaker, the MV provides better edge strength for medium-duty cutting.
Grade Selection Tip: If you are machining heat-resistant superalloys or Titanium, the VP15TF Miracle coating provides the necessary thermal barrier to prevent built-up edge (BUE) and notch wear.
